Replacing existing ring video 2 door bell
hardwired-battery-video-doorbell

I have to replace my recently installed ring video door bell 2 due to a defect in the door bell. Has anyone done this and if so, are there any nuances to be aware of. I was thinking I would install the new door bell, get that working, then delete the one I am removing. Would appreciate any comments to help assure I take the correct path. Thanks

Hi, you can install your replacement without deleting the old one first. You can have as many ring doorbells at a location as you would like. Each one is counted as a completely separate device.

How does this affect your existing account? I only want one doorbell on my account otherwise I'm paying for a multiple device accounts.
