Removing a deactivated device

I have deactivated a faulty ring doorbell and replaced it. I need to remove the old device as Alexa cannot differentiate between the old and new one. How can I remove the old one please?The device settings is not available to remove it because it’s deactivated. I no longer have access to the original device.
