Remove Ring base station after moving

We recently moved and will be selling our house. We were able to remove all devices from our account at the old house, except for the base station. Since no one is living there, there is no wifi and the base station is on cellular back-up. When we try to remove the base station on the app and website, all that shows when we click on the device is that it is on cellular back up and a single button to “join another network.” We are also unable to delete the location because the base station has not been removed. Since we are unable to physically access the base station, is there any know workaround to remove the base station? Thanks!

Hi @9147. If you’re able to, I’d suggest temporarily reconnecting the Base Station to wifi in order to remove it from your Ring account. If you’re not able to do so, please follow up with our support team at one of the numbers available here to see what other options are available. If you are outside of the US, please visit here to see how to contact support.

Same here, we moved out of state and had to return our internet router before leaving. Wanted to keep security monitoring until house sold but now no way to deactivate any devices. No wi-fi to connect to.
