Red and green video at night

Recently, video from my Ring Video Doorbell 1st Generation went completely red which I noticed in the app’s Camera preview. When I went to the live view, it changed to green and stays like that most of the time, though I have looked back and noticed that it will change to red occasionally. During the day, video appears completely normal. I looked back over several days events and it appears I noticed it happening on the first time.

I read a couple of articles here that seemed to present the same issue. I followed the advice given (hard reset and deleted/re-added the camera as new in the app), but the issue persists.

Some claim a firm tap might fix it.
