Is it normal that when I speak on the ring doorbell, I can't hear myself on the recording? I can only hear the person at the doorbell? I have the ring doorbell 2021 (wired).

Hi @podupuis. You should be able to hear yourself as well in the recordings. If you are not , try the following steps: - Make sure you are activating both the [microphone and speaker buttons during Live View](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/208144516-Using-Live-View). - Verify that your Ring app and smart phone are caught up with the latest updates available. * [Reboot the Doorbell from the Ring app](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/7438395032980-How-to-Reboot-your-Ring-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera-from-the-Ring-App-). * Reboot your router by unplugging it and plugging it back in. * Verify your Doorbell's [signal strength, also known as RSSI, is at a sufficient level](https://community.ring.com/t/how-it-works-your-ring-device-rssi-good-vs-poor/229).
