Recording Limitations

Is anyone other person having issues with their Ring device not recording all motion events? Recently I noticed that the Ring Peephole device stopped recording most events other than when the door is opened or a person knocks on the door.

I rebooted the device several times, set the settings to the highest sensitivity level etc, and still the device doesn’t function as it should. I contacted Ring’s customer support and they are extremely limited in troubleshooting their own device and upon the conclusion to my 45 minute call, offered only a 35% discount to replace the device that is less than 2 years old.

I suspect Ring has recently placed limitations on the video recording capabilities a customer has even if they have bought one of their plans.

Does any user have any suggestions on how to resolve my issue or should I look to purchase a competitor’s product, rather than purchase another Ring device?
