The Ring hard-wired doorbell shows that it is offline. Disconnected it from power and reconnected it. tried to go through the reconnect procedure. The units says, “Ring doorbell is in setup mode” but the white light is not spinning and the device will not reconnect to an operating wifi with 91 signal strength. There was no problem six days ago, but it does not work now. What to do?
Hi @Lancer1. An RSSI of -91 is very weak, so that’s likely why your Doorbell Wired disconnected from wifi. Try performing a reboot on your wifi modem and router before attempting the setup process again. You can also factory reset your Doorbell Wired by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. Once that’s done, try completing the setup process in the Ring app by following the steps under Set Up a Device.
