recently it appears doorbell is not recording anything from about midnight to first movement around 7am.
We used to detect many movements as we have foxes coming across the garden…

Doesn’t seem very good to have a security doorbell that works perfectly well during the day, but goes to sleep at night :frowning: reading on the community pages this seems to be a new issue and i guess a software issue…

This should not be happening, @Midlands1. As long as there is a motion event within range (based on settings), this event should be captured and recorded (if subscribed to a Protect Plan). I recommend checking through your timeline or event history in the Ring app to confirm there are no events happening.

If you are certain there is movement in the area at night, try changing your motion settings and testing during night time hours to see if any adjustments are necessary. Please also ensure that you do not have a motion schedule, modes, or motion snooze enabled during these times. I hope this helps! :slight_smile:
