Rapid Ring app being phased out
I have a Ring Pro doorbell camera along with the indoor compact camera. I was using the Rapid Ring app until my Doorbell Pro wouldn't connect to it. My indoor camera still did. Also, both cameras still connected to the main Ring app. After uninstalling the Rapid Ring app & installing again, the problem persisted. I called support twice. Both times I was told that Ring is phasing out the Rapid app and it is no longer supported. I found older versions of the Rapid app and they had the same issue. The only conclusion is that Ring is updating the Doorbell cameras firmware and blocking the Rapid Ring app. Otherwise, the older versions would still work.

Hey neighbors! If you’re experiencing any Live View concerns with the Rapid Ring app, please try the following troubleshooting steps: * Check out our [Community Post ](https://community.ring.com/t/ring-live-view-not-working-or-connecting-ring-troubleshooting-tips/249) on Live View concerns, which can help you narrow down what may be causing the Live View to not work. * Follow the best practices in our Help Center Article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/4812209807124-Mobile-Device-Compatibility-and-the-Ring-App) to ensure compatibility between your mobile device and the Ring app. * Test the Live View on both cellular data and wifi connections to see if one connection type works over the other. * Test the Live View on the regular [Ring app](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/204384784-Downloading-and-Updating-the-Ring-App) to see if it works without issue there. If it does, this may be a better option to manage your Ring devices, as you will also have access to all of the features available as opposed to using the Rapid Ring app. If you're able to access Live View successfully in the Ring app, I recommend using this rather than the Rapid Ring app so you can manage your Ring devices without issue. If you're unable to access Live View in either the Rapid Ring app or the Ring app, please follow up with our support team at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406) so they can take a closer look. If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support.

Yes it is, they are no longer supporting the Rapid Ring app and it will completely stop working altogether sometime in July

My rapid ring app also will not connect to my Doorbell Pro 2. But the normal Ring app will connect. It would be nice for Ring to let us know (a message in the app) that it is not going to work instead of making me troubleshoot this for 2 hours. Grrrr.
