Hi, do I have to use the chime to extend the range for my spotlight cam, or can I use the alarm range extender?
Hi @Bigcat49. The Ring Alarm Range Extender works to extend the Z-wave signal that the Alarm devices communicate on. This will not extend the wifi signal that your Ring Cameras or Doorbells use, so you would need to utilize the Chime Pro. I hope that clears things up for you!
