I am trying to install the 2nd gen range extender with z-wave. When I scan the code it says the device is already online. It is not, however I do have a Chime Pro. Can you not have a Chime Pro and Range extender on the same Alarm hub?
Hi @marco5. The Chime Pro and Range Extenders operate on 2 different frequencies, and will not conflict with each other. If your Range Extender says it’s already online, try to locate it in your Ring app. You can do this by selecting Menu > Devices > Alarm Base Station > Range Extender > (Gear Icon) and look at the 5-digit identifier. If they match each other, your Range Extender is already online and ready to use! I hope this information helps.
