My ring randomly detects motion and no one is there. It started about a month ago. Kind of annoying.

Hey @erichoices! Depending on which device you have, there are various motion settings that might help to improve your motion detection experience. I always recommend testing different sensitivities as well as altering, or even redrawing zones to optimize motion accuracy. Let us know how this goes! 
same here, apperantly they have changed some settings, which picked all the false motions and drained the batter on my doorbell 2. I have been playing with the adjustments to find a good spot but no luck so far. Very frustrating!
