Question about ring alarm retrofit
retrofit-kit
alarm
I have an old ADT system model # SCW9057G-433 at my house that is pretty much useless as it stands. It has quite a few sensors, but as far as I can tell they’re wireless. It does have a terminal connection inside for wired sensors, but the only thing wired in is the ac power. My question is if it’s possible for me to use these sensors with the ring alarm, or if they’re useless as they sit. I was thinking even if they’re wireless and can’t communicate with the ring alarm, there might be a way to wire the retrofit to the adt panel?

Hi @Murphy0Wesley. The Retrofit Kit is not compatible with any wireless sensors, as it's designed to allow you to use existing hardwired alarm sensors with the Ring Alarm system. You can find all of the information we have on the Retrofit Kit in our Help Center Article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032456492-Welcome-to-the-Ring-Retrofit-Alarm-Kit), which should answer any questions you have. You can also reach out to our support team at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406) for any further questions. We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times.
