Box is misleading about the internal siren. What good is a manual operation if motion is detected? Its for out doors. Why would this siren not go off when motion is detected?
Dissapointed.
Also found out that even if you set to “people”, and create a specific zone, the stupid light still comes on if motion is detected anywherem eveb outside the zone.
I expected a much better product, instead, very dissapointed.
Hi @OK2. The siren does not automatically go off, as it must be manually activated within the Ring App. As we value our neighbors’ feedback, we’ve created a Feature Request board. As for the People Only Mode, some neighbors have found more success with turning this feature off rather than having it on. If you find that you’re receiving too many alerts, you may want to try toggling it off and seeing how the motion detection works for you then.
