Are there plans for ring you have a proximity alarm/noise? This would be to make people aware that they are being recorded and hopefully act as a deterrent.
My camera recently caught someone checking to see if my car was unlocked. If the camera could have “beeped” or said something like “you are being recorded” then I think the person would have been scared off.
My camera blends in to the side of my house so it is not visible.
Glad to see this is available in the US. Any idea when it will come to the UK?
Unfortunately, Ring isn’t always very good at giving specifics as to when/where various features show up. It may be that one day you’ll see notice of the option in the app. That’s how I found out about it.
