Proper Wiring for Ring Elite
For reasons, I don't care to go into I cannot power one of my Elites via PoE. I've currently got a 16.5V 30 doorbell transformer (No chime connected) ready to go, but have read not to directly connect it as it's a fire hazard. I purchased the in-line resistor from Ring and that has dropped the voltage to 13.5V. Now I'm reading I may need another Pro Power kit. How do I power this thing? I dont believe it to be defective as I've powered it over PoE in my office. Please help!
