Previously owner email inaccessible

I have a doorbell that was set up through my old work email. The company was bought out but not before the emails were closed by the previous owner when he went bankrupt. Therefore, the previous owner email is inaccessible. Is there anyway to change ownership of the device when the previous owner email is inaccessible?
