Preroll poor quality

I have a wireless video doorbell 4 and the pre roll video quality at night is extremely poor and fuzzy with lines right across the video so you can make nothing out. Works fine in the day but night when we need it most it’s absolutely useless.

I’ve attached a screenshot of the footage.

Any tips to resolve this?

Hi @user25370. Thank you for attaching that screenshot, as that is not how the pre-roll footage should look. For this, I’d recommend fully resetting your Doorbell and performing a new setup in the Ring app to clear up any technical concerns that may be causing the lines in the footage. Before completing a reset, make sure to download any videos you want to keep from your Doorbell.

To reset your Doorbell, remove the faceplate and hold down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After the reset is complete, follow the steps in the Ring app under Set Up a Device to get your Doorbell reconnected to your wifi network and the Ring app. Test out an event at night to see if the pre-roll footage is showing correctly.
