Phantom doorbell rings w/o pressing button

Device ‘healthy’ battery 89% w/ power source battery. Live view showed flaring top left of screen but had been ringing for a couple of minutes before live view. No motion. Button not stuck. Has happened in afternoon sun and at 0230AM. Any solutions other than going to a different company?

Hey @alegri. Do you have the Doorbell 2 hooked up to an internal chime kit, or is the Doorbell itself ringing randomly? If you have it hooked up to an internal chime kit, please verify for me if it’s in our compatible list here. If this is the Doorbell itself or the internal chime kit but it’s a compatible kit, please try resetting the device and reconnecting it for me to see if it helps! For the reset, you will press and hold the setup button for 20 seconds. For the reconnection after, go into the Main Menu > Devices > Doorbell > Device Health > Change or Reconnect Wifi Network. From here, you will go through another setup of the device, and let me know if it’s working as it should after the fact! :slight_smile:
