Person detection and notification not working consistently

I have a Ring Floodlight Cam Pro and it does not consistently detect people. Works about 50% of the time. It detects the motion, and I could choose to be notified of that, but I only want to be notified if it’s a person.After MANY repetitive sessions with difficult to understand technical support staff in an Indian call center, a certified rebuilt camera was sent out. I wasn’t advised that my brand new camera was going to be replaced with a rebuilt one. No improvement in performance. I don’t know if it’s a software issue or faulty sensors, but it is very disappointing. I previously owned a simple Ring camera that worked consistently. Maybe Shark Tank was right when they didn’t invest. 😀
