Person detected stopped working

As of 4/22/21, both of our battery operated security cams have stopped detecting people. We have not made any changes in the settings. We only receive “motion detected” alerts now—even when people are in view—rather than “person detected.” We’ve also found that the detection is not as accurate on both cams (there have been times people are directly in front of the cam, and it doesn’t detect them). I have reinstalled the devices and my app, but this has not helped. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you checked the person detection settings in the app. Also have you made any changes to the height the devices are mounted at?

The detection settings were not changed at all before or after the issue arose. Also, the mounting has not changed on either device. They both just stopped detecting people one day.
