Is it possible to constantly use cellular internet for a place that does not have Wi-Fi? I’m looking for options to buy a wireless camera for a remote area with service available but no wifi, would a ring security camera be able to do this?
I read about how its a backup option but looking for a permanent solution.

Hi @Minde. There is no cellular backup option available for Ring Doorbells or Security Cameras. You may be thinking of the Cellular Backup that applies to the Ring Alarm system under the Ring Protect Plus plan, but that does not apply to Doorbells or Cameras. Our devices do require a stable and consistent wifi connection.
