So we install a new Ring Panic Button on the third floor in case something happens and we are in our bedroom and can set it on. We don’t have central AC and rely on window units but we only have one in the bedroom not on all the time. In NJ it gets hot in the summer and having that on the third floor makes the panic button feel it was tampered. Maybe make the unit a bit better to stand high temperatures?? We had to move it to the second floor where we have window AC units running but may be a bit too late to enable it if something happens inside the house just saying.
Hi @horacam. To clarify, are you saying your Ring Panic Button was triggered and set off the Alarm? Or did you receive a Tampered notification in the Ring app? Feel free to share a screenshot of what you saw in the Ring app if that helps clarify the situation.
