Ownership removed but new owner unable to add

I bought a new doorbell and gave the old one to my son.
I have removed the old doorbell from my account but my son is unable to add it to his account as it says it is still registered to me.
I deactivated the doorbell as per instructions and received confirmation and instructions on how to remove the device. I did this a week ago.

Hi @user64560. I’d suggest checking in with our support team on this, as your son should be able to set up the Ring Doorbell on his Ring account as long as it was fully removed from your account.
