Ownership of doorbell camera hasn't changed

When I launch the Ring App the only option I have is to set up a new device.

I do that, go through the motions and it ends up with “This device is still registered to its owner.”

I AM THE OWNER. I log in with the owner email and password. I am stuck in a loop. I can’t get the doorbell to display video. If I push the doorbell, it rings, but there is no video in the app. Just “Set Up A New device”.

Hi @jlogan2000. It’s definitely a good call to verify that you are using the same email address and password for the Ring account that you originally set your devices up under. You might also be on the wrong Location in the Ring app, which would prompt you to set up a device if there are none at that Location. You can tap the Location name in the top center of the Ring app to check and swap to the correct one.

If it was the wrong Location, the duplicate can be deleted by swapping over to it and tapping the menu in the top left > Settings > Delete Location. If that didn’t resolve this, you can follow up with our support team at one of the numbers available here to take a closer look.
