My Ring 3 doorbell camera is not responding to a press of the orange button. There is no click, just a soft feel from the rubbery membrane. As such, as I have changed my router, I can no longer connect to the network. Does this mean the item is to be classed as ‘completely broken’ and therefore to be discarded? It was purchased in September 2021
Hi @user21638. It’s possible the Doorbell could by physically damaged. Pressing the setup button firmly should put it into setup mode. If the Doorbell is not responding to that, try holding down the setup button for 20 seconds to reset it. Then try to walk through a new setup in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device. Should those steps not work, please reach out to our support team for further assistance.
