Option to disable motion detection light (blue LED)

Question

I would like an option to disable the motion detection light (blue LED) as I have some Ring security cams facing a window and the blue light reflects back at the security cam.  My workaround is to cover the light with black electrical tape.  Would be better if I could simply disable the light via the Ring app.

Hi @user34731. I was able to find this Feature Request [post](https://community.ring.com/t/option-to-disable-blue-light/4477) where other neighbors have suggested the same request as you. Feel free to vote and comment on the post. Also, we do not recommend placing any of our Cameras facing out a window, as it can affect their motion detection.
