One sensor in my order won't connect


I got an alarm set and an extra 10 sensors from ring. One sensor just won’t connect. I’ve reset it and tried everything in support articles. It is close to the base station so that is not the issue. How can I go about getting a replacement.


Hi @user29731. You’ll most likely need to “remove a Z-Wave device” with this Contact Sensor. Those steps are listed here. This should get your Contact Sensor to add to your Ring Alarm.

Thanks. The sensor is a first generation and I’ve removed it twice now and tried to factory reset it, but still nothing!
