Nothing being recorded

We have the second gen ring doorbell and it use to always record motion (when cars drove past, or people on the sidewalk or driveway) but only alerted us when people were detected. Now there is hours of nothing being detected at all and we hadn’t changed any settings prior to this. Any thoughts? It will still detect people on the porch, but not even our driveway now.

Hi there, @gnoble! The best next step will be to check motion settings for any opportunities to fine tune motion detection. Please also ensure motion scheduling or motion snooze is not preventing alerts. During the time of not receiving alerts, does your event history show and videos being recorded?

Another setting I recommend checking, is motion frequency. Feel free to let us know how this goes! :slight_smile:
