Not receiving verification email

attempting to set up my wired doorbell so created an account to use the app. the account is there but it is waiting on an email to verify i am me. no matter how many times I request the email nothing is coming thru. The email works as ring has sent me codes to log in as well as emails saying I logged in on a new device. nothing has gone to spam or trash in the email account and it’s a standard Gmail account. attempted to request email from both android, iOS, and windows PC.
