I have not been receiving notifications in the Neighbor app since I moved and changed my address. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app with no luck. Notifications for the app are allowed in my phone (Android; Galaxy Note 20). Any ideas/suggestions?
Hi @AbbeyB. In addition to uninstalling the app and reinstalling it, try clearing the cache and cookies. This Help Center article here also has great tips and tricks for notifications for Android. I hope this helps!
I have purchased a new phone since I moved. That said, I did uninstall and reinstall the app, cleared the cache and cookies.
Talked with Customer Support until they stopped responding. NOTHING HAS HELPED.
Unfortunately now, Columbus is a little “lit” and there have been some very dangerous events nearby that I am not notified of, several shootings last night and this morning that I didn’t receive notifications for via the Neighbors app.
I understand that I should not expect Neighbors to be my sole source of news BUT if the app bills itself as an option for notification, I should at least be able to expect the service it claims. I am very frustrated at being dropped off by customer service with no attempt at a resolution other than uninstalling, reinstalling, clearing caches, etc and when that doesn’t work, radio silence.
In addition to uninstalling and reinstalling, I’ve reset the boundaries for notification, changed what notifications to receive, changed the times I should receive notifications (all the time, 8-8 or none) and nothing works. Can you please tell me what my options are at this point?

You’ve definitely gone through most of the basic troubleshooting when notifications aren’t working, and Tom shared the main resource we have for this concern on Android devices. One more thing you can check is this list of Android apps that are known to conflict with the Ring App. If that doesn’t resolve this concern, I’d recommend reaching out to our support team for further help. They may also suggest you contact your cell phone carrier if the notifications continue to not work properly.
