We bought our Ring Doorbell yesterday and I’ve had it plugged in and it won’t charge past 94%. The light keeps turning off, if I unplug it and plug it back in the light comes back on and blinks to show percentage, but then it shuts off after a while and the battery percentage doesn’t increase. Why is this happening?
Hi there @Megmitch. When you check the Device Health page in the Ring App, is the battery percentage stuck at 94%? I’d recommend running through a reset and a fresh setup of the Doorbell to refresh its connection with the Ring App and with your home wifi network. To reset the Doorbell, you’ll just need to hold down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After that’s complete, you can walk through a new setup in the Ring App by following the steps under Set Up a Device. Let me know how that works for you!
