I do not have enough space to fit the whole 2nd Gen contact sensor magnet on my door trim. Is there a way to remove the internal magnet and mount that piece on the trim, instead of the whole magnet?
Hi @JM4! We advise against altering the design of your Alarm devices to avoid any voiding of warranty. If different mounting positions do not work here, something that might work for you is our Ring Alarm Slim Magnet.
