Not detecting human

My ring security camera is hooked up and connected to Wi-Fi, it will not alert me or even pick up a human. I stood infront of it and tried walking down driveway and nothing and i have reset it and checked all the settings on app. Nothing is working. Please help or did i waste my money?

Hi @Chewy12345. Please share some screenshots of how you have your settings configured? Are you using Modes for cameras? Your device should absolutely be detecting motion and if it is not, it’s likely the settings are not configured properly.
