When looking to enable the Two-Way Communication on your Ring devices, please ensure to toggle a live view and then toggle the green talk button. You can also press the audio (microphone/ speaker) icons while viewing the live video in your Ring app to enable audio.

While some audio should come through, even if there is WiFi experience, check out your RSSI in the device health section of the Ring app, just to ensure for optimal WiFi signal.

Please also ensure there is no VPN enabled on your mobile device, and that you’ve accepted all permissions for the Ring app.
