I do not have the option for a mechanical chime in my app. I have a ring doorbell 2 that is wired to the old doorbell in my house. It used to work for the previous owners, but they removed the device from their account and when I added it to mine the physical doorbell no longer rings. all the provided information through ring says the option should be listed under general settings for the device but it is not there. I do not have the option for in-home chime settings. I chatted with support and they said to call, then when I called they hung up.
Hi @user47761. The In-Home Chime setting is an option on the Doorbell Pro and Doorbell Pro 2. It is not an option on our battery powered doorbells. I’d suggest checking what the internal chime kit in your home is and verifying it is on the compatibility list here. Then double-check the wiring and ensure it is all wired up correctly.
