The motion detection was set off by my dog on the porch, but when the video started it captured what sounds like a party going on somewhere, which definitely wasn’t outside on my porch. What could have happened? Are other outside devices connecting? Interfering? I didn’t see any related posts to this and thought I would ask here before trying ring directly.
Hey @ES7! The first thing I recommend checking is your shared users and any other devices you might have the app logged in on. If you’ve shared any family or friends with this particular device, they may have answered the event and toggled two-way audio while viewing.
If you have not shared your device with anyone, the audio may have come from surrounding homes or environmental sounds. Please reach out to our support team, for more in-depth troubleshooting, if this concern persists.
