No motion alerts on new doorbell

We just purchased a 2020 ring doorbell. I set it up. The doorbell button alerts me when pressed on my phone, yet I cannot get any ring alerts for motion. I’ve tried enabling and disabling zones and alerts, we own 2 doorbells already, so we know how to work them. This is just a newer version. Very confused!

If available for your device have you:

  • Turned on Motion Detection and Alerts
  • Motion Sensitivity to Max (at least for testing)
  • Smart Alerts options turned on as appropriate
  • Advanced Motion Detection turned on
  • No Motion Schedules
  • Motion Frequency to Frequently
  • Motion Snooze turned Off
