Night Vision not working for either doorbell or Spotlight Cam Battery


I am having an issue with my Ring equipment.

Night vision is not working for either my Doorbell 2 or my Sptlight cam battery.

The doorbell is hardwired, and the cam is charged by a solar panel.

Some time over the last few months, without moving the equipment or environmental lighting changing, neither device will show the IR feed. All topics I have seen on this have 0 solutions.

Pretty disappointed, but I would like to see if anyone has a fix now.


Hi @JacobSteeg! Seeing that you’ve mentioned no changes took place with the lighting in the environment, the existing light might be bright enough for lens adjustment. If you are certain this is not the case, try covering the lens area of each device while triggering a live video as a test of the night vision adjustment.
