Night vision malfunction and solid white ring

My ring 2nd generation doorbell is about 6 weeks old. It has functioned perfectly until now. It is on a porch with little cover so it does get wet. Currently there is moisture in the housing where the camera is, the night vision will not kick on and the bottom of the white ring is solidly on. I have reset it a few times with no luck. I am thinking of letting the battery drain, and hoping for the best. It does still work properly in daylight. Any thoughts?
