I recently installed the new wired spotlight cam to my garage. I was getting the message the device was offline and couldn’t reconnect so I purchased the Wi-Fi extender. The device connected fine during setup but it constantly shows offline in the app. It will record movement in the evening and I get a notification mostly when I come home and an entering my house. But I can never go to live view.
Hi @marycul22. I have a few things I can suggest. First, try a power cycle of the Spotlight Cam. Completely remove power to the device for 3 minutes, then power it back up and see if that corrects the issue. Next, try rebooting your internet router to see if your RSSI increases. If that doesn’t work, you can reset and reconnect the device. You can do this by pressing and holding the setup button for 20 seconds, then release. Let me know if this helps!
