NEW Ring Doorbell stuck at 90 firmware update

Got a brand new V2 Ring doorbell after a break in. Cant use it as stuck at the 90% firmware update issue that seems to be extremely prevelant throughout the internet. Have reset everything several times no joy. I bought this to protect my home and it’s useless. Can anyone help?
