New ring doorbell 2 bell problems

Morning all, I’ve just installed a ring video doorbell 2 to my existing deta c3500 doorbell chime, the ring button doesn’t make the chime inside work though, it makes the noise outside from the ring itself and also on my iPhone but nothing from my old bell chime, I haven’t used the diode as I believe my bell is mechanical, any help appreciated

After checking into our list of compatible chime kits for the Ring Video Doorbell 2, it looks like your chime kit is in our list of incompatible chimes. If you’re wishing to hear the doorbell sound from the inside, I recommend to get a Chime or Chime Pro! :slight_smile:
