New camera old solar panel with adapter works but app shows not connected

I replaced my ring spotlight camera and the barrel to USBC adapter. Batteries charged from 91/96% so it worksBUT the app still shows “solar not connected “It’s been 3 days now. Lots of sunAnyone else experience this?
