I
Neighbors App has wrong address
neighbors
cs-support

I have a issue no one seems to be able to answer. Both in the neighbors app, and the neighbors link within my ring app my address is wrong. The address in settings for my Ring system itself is correct, but the Neighbors portion is wrong (never lived there, not close to my house, not sure where it came from). I went to the Ring store and they confirmed it is supposed to let me change it, but the system will not. I have deleted app and reinstalled, no luck. I have called support twice and stopped at Ring store once and gotten 3 different (all wrong) answers. Any suggestions are appreciated!

4 days later in February 2022. Still no solution for iPhone users.

This also doesn't work on Android if the App says your location is Earth. This issue here https://community.ring.com/t/neighbors-app-address-shows-as-earth/119936

We recently moved in November. My boyfriends is the main account holder and I am a "shared user" on the account. While his phone updated to the correct map location in Ring and in Neighbors, mine did not. I have tried all of the above, but as a shared user, I cannot do some of the things suggested for my account. All the address information is correct. We both have the exact same phone and on Android. We even deleted me from the account, uninstalled all Ring and Neighborhood apps from my phone and then re-added me as a shared user and reinstalled the apps onto my phone. This did not help at all. I just decided to turn off notifications and remove Neighborhood from my phone. I am tired of getting notifications for a place I don't care about anymore. I guess we are stuck in this limbo of not getting the map to function properly. I'm done fighting with it.

exact same for me. My husband was able to update his, but on mine (despite showing the new address) I still see all the alerts from our past neighborhood.

(Replying to @Leigh-06 as well)The Android solution worked for me (post 77 by @mrscaddy850) and I am the shared Android user on my husband's account, so it may be worth a try for those reading:After doing the steps in post 77, I had a few more steps:1. Inside the Ring app in the hamburger menu (3 lines):2. Navigate to Neighbors Feed. 3. From the top screen drop-down list, select the new location you created previously in the separate Ring Neighbors App.4. Click settings icon.5. Adjust preferences for both locations as desired.Note: In the hamburger menu, under Dashboard, you don't want to change it to the new location. Keep it at the "(Shared)" location so you can still see the shared video feed from the Ring device shared with you. As of the timing of this post, the Ring app forces you toggle between locations when you navigate from the Dashboard to the Neighbors Feed within the app.

Wow wow wow wow wow. I have the same issue and was looking for a solution. TWO YEARS LATER and there’s still nothing??? I tried the suggestion in this thread. Nothing. I just need the zip code for the safety report changed but it’s impossible. What a waste. :(

This issue has not been solved yet. 3 YEARS AND COUNTING??? The map on the ring app (through mapbox) is showing a location on a random street in my city. My address is correct but the map on the ring app is still showing a random location. FIX THIS PLEASE!!!!! Takes 3 YEARS?!?!?
