Does anyone know how to update the address for the monitoring? I contacted support a few times and they told me it was resolved, but it’s not. When I set off the alarm at tries to send alerts to my old address. Is there a way that I can change this? I haven’t renewed the subscription because of this, it’s kind of pointless if it goes to the wrong address. I’ve had a subscription for two years and it’s awesome but it’s useless if this can’t be updated. I probably lost out on my pricing because of this.
Has anyone had any issues with the neighborhood app? It never loads. I’m wondering if this is because my address is not being updated.
Hi @Bracer50. To change the address for Professional Monitoring, follow these steps:
- Open the Ring app
- Choose the menu button (three lines in the upper left corner).
- Select Settings
- Tap on Address and select Edit Address.
- It will ask you to end Professional Monitoring, which you have to do to change the address. Tap on Continue.
- Follow the next steps to enter your new address and enable Professional Monitoring.
As for your Neighbors feed not loading, please make sure you have the latest version of the Ring app. Also, try force-closing the Ring app and reopening it. If you have tried these steps and are still having the same concern, you will have to continue working with our support team to further investigate.
