Negative Temps causing Solar to not work and batteries drain

I did my research before purchase of ring Battery Cams and am very unhappy. If I had known RING batteries and solar panels stop working in cold temps, I wouldn’t have purchases. I live in Alaska and of course we have freezing weather for several months.
With the freezing temps the Solar panels just show not connected.
My Spotlight Cams freeze and send me alerts that they are offline.
I am very unhappy. Nothing that I found was clear for how ring battery cams handle cold temps.
