My ring camera doorbell did not capture a person trying to use the key to come in my house. Everything checks out fine, the connection is good, plus my son came in the house 30 minutes before the incident
He was captured on camera but not the person 30 minutes later. I left with an uneasy feeling now. Anyone deal with something similar?
Hi @user58216. I’m sorry to hear about what happened, I can imagine that causing you to feel uneasy. I can’t really speculate on exactly why your Doorbell didn’t record a specific event, but I can point you in the direction of different settings to check.
First, I’d recommend giving your Motion Zones and Motion Sensitivity a once-over to make sure they fit your preferences. If you have a battery powered Ring Doorbell, you’ll also have access to the Motion Frequency setting. It’s also good to check the connection on the Device Health page, as well as check your network settings to ensure nothing may have caused temporary interference in the connection.
