My new Doorbell 4 won’t connect to my wifi network. It keeps telling me to move closer to the router. It still won’t connect when I am only 1 metre away from the router.
Update - I’ve solved this by connecting the doorbell via a TP-Link wifi extender.
Hi @iantguy. I’m glad to hear you were able to resolve this concern by connecting your Video Doorbell 4 to a TP-Link wifi extender. Different building materials and other objects in your home may have been causing some interference with the wifi signal, which is why the Ring app suggested moving your Doorbell closer to the router. In this case, using a wifi extender is another great solution to help extend that signal!
