My father died. We no longer have his phone to transfer the doorbell to mom. Help!

I have physical access to the device, but I can’t add the doorbell to my mom’s ring account because it’s tied to my dad’s account, and we can’t transfer the device because we no longer have his cell phone. Can anything be done?
